How to Make an EASY and Beautiful Chic Fall Wreath + Video!

The fall sprucing continues! Today I'm sharing How to Make an EASY and Beautiful Chic Fall Wreath. Fall is so fleeting, I have to admit that I'm not feeling even a tad bit guilty about getting out my Fall decor in August!

This year I am enjoying soothing, comforting tones of the season, like these creams and warm pumpkin tones. I found these branches/bouquets at Michaels craft store recently and was smitten! I love getting to the store when they've just put out the new fall items. You have your pick of the litter!

Here are the supplies for How to Make an EASY and Beautiful Chic Fall Wreath:

  • Grapevine wreath form
  • Fern style branch bouquet
  • Cream and rust toned flower bouquet
  • Mini pumpkin sprays

Because I sometimes like to switch things up, I decided NOT to use a glue gun on this wreath. That way, I will still be able to easily re-use either the wreath form or these branches (or both!) at another time if I wish. I like that kind of flexibility!

To make this you simply cut the branches off of the bouquet near the handle so you have a nice long stem. Wrap the wire stem around the wreath and tuck the end into the wreath form. Easy-peasy!

I've created a video for you to see me make this! Scroll to the bottom of this post to see it!

It's simple yet beautiful. A very pretty welcome, if I do say so myself.

I've recently hung an old door knob on my door as a wreath hanger hook. I got tired of the other wreath hangers and wanted something more perminent and that would work with any seasonal decor I decided to hang.

I styled a few baskets with pumpkins and other fall inspired accents to draw the color from the wreath.

Piling pumpkins in a basket like this is great way to display a mix of pumpkins that you might not quite have a home for in your decor.

Here's one more closeup of these flowers.

I don't know that I've ever use a premade bouquet as is. They tend to be a bit uninteresting that way for my taste. But when you split them up – magic can happen! These flowers, ferns and pumpkins look so lovely mixed together!

I also like that by making a custom arrangement like makes our decor completely unique! No two will be the same, and your house won't look like a cookie-cutter image of what's in stores right now.

Plus, you can stretch them out to make more out of an arrangement this way!
