After high school I briefly considered attending culinary school, I even visited the Culinary Institute campus in Napa Valley, California. But I have a couple of cousins who are professional chefs and they both wisely counseled me about the intensity of a pro kitchen and the limited creative options (which for my personality is important as you may have guessed from what you see here on the blog!).
