9 Questions to Help You Find Your Purpose | Celebrating Everyday Life with Jennifer Carroll | www.CelebratingEverydayLife.com

I am so excited as I write this post that I am having trouble sitting still to even write it! But I'm jumping ahead… Let me explain why I'm so excited to share 9 Questions to Help You Find Your Purpose.  First, did you read this post where I shared 3 of my 6 Blogging Mistakes I've Made?

I really opened up on there about insecurities I've been battling, and I also mentioned that I am enrolled in the Elite Blog Academy 3.0 class.

Well, the doors officially opened for the course this week, and right out of the gate, in Unit 1(!), I am already having mind-blowing revelations about not just how to structure my blog, but about finding my purpose in my life! Seriously.

I feel a sense of freedom and excitement that I have never felt before, and of course, I want to share that with you! If you have found yourself “tired of feeling tired” then read on for good news!

When My Heart Is Overwhelmed Lead Me To The Rock That Is Higher Than I scripture | Celebrating Everyday Life with Jennifer Carroll | www.CelebratingEverydayLife.com

The first unit of the course has you really dig deep into the nitty-gritty of blogging basics and answer a lot of questions.

This may sound a little scary and kind-of overwhelming, but Ruth's questions gently lead you through the process, and if you do the work – WOW, the information that it reveals is huge. At least it was for me.

I've been blogging for years, but I've struggled.

I've struggled with the back-end of blogging, but I've also struggled with focus, and fully understanding the “why” behind what I'm doing here.

I realize now, I struggled because I had never taken the time (or even known I needed to) answer the types of questions she asked.

But once I did, almost like a flower blooming before my eyes, “my why” was right there in front of me in black & white.

Finding Balance To Live A Life You Love | Celebrating Everyday Life with Jennifer Carroll | www.CelebratingEverydayLife.com

My blog's purpose is:

Creating beauty and finding balance to live a life you love!

This is what I want to do! I want to help you find the beauty in everyday life.

I want to help you find balance in your busy schedule.

Because these two concepts are critical to you living a life you love – they are imperative to you leaving a legacy in your family and your community.

God loves beauty, and He came that we may have and enjoy our lives.

But the enemy is trying to destroy that every day, all day. And I want to be here to join with you in waging a battle to help you win!

To help you rise above the grind of daily living and find moments of joy, peace, and beauty.

I want to share practical ways to get the important but kind-of mundane things in your life done, so you have time and energy to enjoy the really important things – like family and friends.

Does this sound exciting to you? I hope so!

So I thought we'd jump right in to the deep end of the pool and work on some questions that, if you take the time to answer them honestly, will help you dig deep and tap in to your purpose.

Find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed and take time to think about your answers.

Some will come quickly, others will take longer.

Don't rush this.

If you can't do them all at once, no problem!

Do one a day for nine days, whatever it takes.

Ready? Let's do this!

9 Questions to Help You Find Your Purpose

Question 1: What do you like to do in your free time?

Question 2: If money was not a factor, how would you choose to spend your time?

Question 3: What topics do you regularly discuss with family and friends?

Question 4: What does your typical daily schedule look like?

Question 5: Is there an issue or subject that you are avoiding facing?

Question 6: What is your greatest strength? What is your biggest weakness?

Question 7: What are you most grateful for?

Question 8: What do you want your life to look like in a year?

Question 9: What do you want your life to look like in five years?

What Next?

Write out your answers and know there are no wrong answers.

No one will see what you are writing, so take this opportunity to be honest.

What other thoughts rise up?

Answering these questions (and others like them) gave me insight into where I am right now and where I want to go.

Because I stopped and thought about my daily life and my choices, rather than continuing to be swept up by the busy-ness of my life, I saw a much clearer picture of what is happening and what I am dreaming of.

I was able to find my heading!

And now, with that information in hand, I am capable of truly pursuing my passion!

And that sweet friend is exactly what I hope for you.

I want you to know what you want.

You don't have to have the plan for how to get there, first, you just need to know where it is you want to go.

What you want your life to look like.

Today, I pray that God will use these 9 Questions to Help You Find Your Purpose and to prepare your heart.

That He will reveal His truth and more of His plan for you, so that you are one step closer to honestly living a life you love.

This is so exciting, and I can't wait to see what doors God opens up for both of us through this process! Thank you for joining me on the journey!

Happy Celebrating!

    Jennifer:
This is a lovely post and I have just this morning found your blog. Truly, I don’t feel that was an accident.

I have just started blogging and my passion is also about creating beauty, scattering joy and hoping to inspire others to walk down a similar path. I believe if 1 person inspires 1 person, and they do the same – we can make our world a sweeter, kinder place.

I have written down the questions and plan to answer them when I am still and can give them my full attention. Clearly, they are thought provoking.

I thank you for this post and for your time in preparing it for all of us!
Many Blessings to you and yours,
    Sandra
