Trick or Treat Vintage Inspired Halloween Fabric {What to do?}

Vintage Inspired Halloween Fabric, Trick or Treat Fabric, The Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection

Just a quick post today because I’m juggling quite a few projects – one of which is for one of my favorite magazines (unfortunately I can’t share any details yet – but you’ll be the 1st to know when I can!!)

This past weekend while doing some sourcing for an upcoming photo shoot, I was in my local JoAnn Fabric store and spotted this vintage inspired Halloween fabric that I think is positively adorable… so I bought 2 yards of it.  But, I have NO IDEA what project to create with it! I also bought some orange pom-pom trim which coordinates nicely. There are so many possibilities! Should I make pillows, an apron, placemats…? I’d love to know what you think! Please leave a comment below and share your creative suggestions!

By the way, the fabric is called “Trick or Treat” and it’s made by The Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection.

Happy Celebrating!

    This fabric has apron written all over it! And the orange pom pom trim would be perfect!! Can’t wait to see what you whip up!!!

    P.S. A lampshade would be fun too. I know that’s really crazy!!!!

    Trick or Treat bags!!!! Would live to see little ones tripping around the neighborhood collecting goodies in bags made of this fabric with the trim around the top edge!! And, if made the right size they could double as book bags to carry fall themed books borrowed from the library! (Or to store your own stash of books in the “off season”!)

    I think this would make the cutest Halloween bucket decoupaged over a pail, or how about applied over a frame of a Halloween costume picture???? Just some thoughts, LOVE the fabric, it’s so Dick and Jane (Yikes! I’m dating myself!)

    That fabric is really cute! I’m not a halloween fan and we don’t do anything for it so I guess I don’t have any suggestions for you – but that is the cutest halloween print I’ve ever seen!

      > I only like the “sweet” side of Halloween (ummm, by sweet I mean cute AND candy, ha!) I’m not into scary at all. So it’s more of a Harvest party for me :-)
