At last the long awaited cookie post! I apologize for the long delay – I have just moved into a new home and can I just say that I will take childbirth any day of the week over moving! While I’ve gotten through the majority of boxes my office still sits filled with wall-to-wall cardboard. I know that one day it will be a haven but for now it is a dreaded task and I try to avert my eyes every time I walk by the door… But I am trying to reestablish some semblance of a work schedule and include in that time for more regular blogging. I truly have missed it! I’m also praying about resurrecting my Celebrating Everyday Life e-zine, perhaps turning it into a seasonal publication rather than monthly…? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this! Would you like to see it? Does quarterly appeal to you? Are there any events you’d especially love to see included in it? I always love feedback so please share in the comments below or email me directly!
OK, on to these AMAZING cookies. Aren’t they to die for? My awesome friend Kelly from One Creative Cookie made these for my Emma’s birthday and they were such a hit! I called Kelly because I knew I wanted something special and knew she was the one to create them. And did she ever! I dreamt of cookies featuring Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit & Jemima Puddleduck characters and she came up with these adorable designs. And how about those sweet little “carrots” & “radishes”?! Too adorable!! At first my friends and family were nervous to eat them since they look so perfect but once I encouraged them and they tasted the delicious flavor of the cookie it was all over! They taste as good as they look – and with a cookie this pretty that’s saying something!
Kelly can create so many shapes and designs – visit her site to get a glimpse of what she can do for you and call her at 434.466.2151 to place your order!
