I am super busy getting ready for several photo shoots for the Fall issue of my online magazine. These next few weeks are crunch time! I’ve been in overdrive trying to source all the props I need for the various shoots. Here are a few favorites that I just found at the Stuart’s Draft Antique Mall. Don’t you love digging around in antique malls and junk shops? I do! It’s like hunting for buried treasure, you never know what you’ll find! Sometimes there’s not much but then other times – JACKPOT! That’s how it was for me this past weekend. Total jackpot! I found lots and lots of goodies but here are a couple of my favorites…
One of the shoots is for an outdoor supper. I’m really excited about this one. I want it to feel very luxurious and Ralph Lauren inspired. To achieve this look I need lots of props and one I’m including are these old books! They have a wonderful crumbliness which make them feel ancient. Love it!
Next up is this wonderful antique English ironstone pitcher and bowl. I love Brown transferware and was really excited to find this. These colors will be perfect for what I’m planning!
I love the scenes on the bowl… what a great detail. I have a small but growing collection of brown transferware pitchers so I was really excited to find this set not only for the shoot but also for my collection!
I have a big sewing project to complete before I can photograph the scene. So I’d better run. Are you getting excited about Fall? Being immersed in these shoots is really getting me in the mood for Autumn’s arrival!!
See you tomorrow!
Happy Celebrating!

Oh a sewing project! Right up my alley! Can’t wait to see what that is! Is your magazine one that will be for sale or is it a free-zine? I would definitely buy one so you should be making some money on it!
