Do you love the look of succulents? If so, then I am delighted to share this simple potted succulent arrangement for under $5 with you! Did you tune into the Facebook LIVE video that I created for Hometalk? If you missed it you can watch my Moss DIY video tutorial here. During the video, I made four different home decor items with moss. It was a lot of fun! If you tuned in then you got a sneak peek at this Simple Succulent Arrangement while I was creating the moss covered pots.
This arrangement is a bargain considering it costs less than $5 to create.
Here’s what I used to make it:
Terra Cotta pot
Faux Succulent (I got mine at Walmart)
That’s it! Simply place the succulent in the pot and tuck a little bit of moss around it to fill the gap. It’s so easy and yet it looks so pretty!
You can make a bigger arrangement for a few dollars more and make a little garden of them.
These faux succulents were on the silk plant aisle at my local Wal-Mart. I hadn’t seen them before so I scooped up several when I spotted them. They look so real and now there is not a danger of me killing them from too much or too little water, a sad fate that has met more than one variety of plant at my house…
You can see my tutorial for how to make the moss covered pots here and you can watch the video of me making them live below:
Even though the weather can’t decide which season it wants to be, I’m decidedly ready for Spring so I’m enjoying creating cheerful decor accents like this Simple Succulent Arrangement for under $5 – especially when they are easy and budget friendly!
