White Wedding Cake, Leaf Wedding Cake, Ruffled Wedding Cake, Art of Photography Workshop

Hello and welcome to Part 2 of the Wonder Photography Workshop post! If you missed Part 1 you can read it here. As you can see this workshop was just filled with amazing detail after detail! I adored this cake! The cake was made by Jenny of Paradox Pastry in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Bride in Monique Lhuillier gown, Bride getting ready

We had wonderful models at the shoot – we got to follow them as if it were a real wedding day. Since I don’t usually shoot people I was feeling a bit intimidated about this aspect of the workshop but I found that I did enjoy it! Above is the “bride” getting ready in one of the beautiful bedrooms at Belle Haven. She is a wearing an absolutely stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. I adore the detailing on this dress!

Wedding Shoes, Fancy Wedding Shoes, Sparkly High Heels

Speaking of details – I love shoes and these sparkly heels are some of the most lovely I’ve ever seen! So I had to share them!! Don’t you love the netting and the rhinestones? Oh how I love them!

Groom getting readyThis is our “groom” – he looks so much like Robert Pattinson to me… being a big Twilight fan – this made my job that much more fun 😀

Bride & Groom First Look photo

We also staged a “first look” shot – I love the smile on her face as she anticipates seeing her “groom” for the “first time”!

Happy Couple, Wedding Couple, Just Married CoupleDon’t they make a happy looking couple?! Not only did we have beautiful models we also had beautiful details like these papers:

Kraft Paper invitations by If So Inklined, white ink calligraphyThese were created by Jen Maton of If So Inklined. Aren’t they dreamy? Her work is amazing! I hope you’ll check her out.

Dinner & Appetizers by The Catering OutfitThere was also a bounty of delicious food by The Catering Outfit – featuring crab, duck, seared tuna, shrimp and other delicious flavors!

Belle Haven willow and vegetable gardenAll these fabulous details were enhanced by the fantastic setting that we were in! Belle Haven is such a gem of a property! I love the vegetable garden in the top photo and isn’t this Weeping Willow dreamy?! These are one of my favorite trees – there is something magical to me about them.

Brick Fountain and Wide Front Porch at Belle HavenI also loved all the many pathways and porches of the farm. There are wonderful views abounding!

Belle Haven CottageBut my favorite spot was this darling cottage! The detailing really is straight out of a storybook! When you rent Belle Haven for an event I believe you also get the use of this delightful cottage – sweet, right!

I hope you’ve enjoyed part 2! I’m so excited to share the final installment with you on Wednesday – it includes the amazing tablescape I promised you! But, I will also see you tomorrow with a {be encouraged} quote!

Til then,

Happy Celebrating!
