When I was planning this recipe, at first I was going to make an Irish coffee drink, but a white chocolate peppermint mocha is my all-time most favorite drink at Starbucks, and I realized that if I was going to take the time to perfect any coffee drink at home, this was the one. So today I present to you my Peppermint Coffee Float recipe – it is part drink, part dessert, and 100% amazingly delicious! Seriously, you will be thrilled by how good and how easy this recipe is.
Frappuccino (you could easily use coffee with sugar & cream too)
Peppermint mocha creamer
Coffee ice cream
Green Sugar & green marshmallows for topping
#1 : Pour a cold frappuccino into a glass; #2 : Add a quarter of a cup of peppermint creamer; #3 : Add a scoop of coffee ice cream, #4 : Top with whipped cream, sprinkles and marshmallows.
The gals at my local Starbucks know that the Peppermint White Mocha is my “standing” order, and happily, this recipe is as close to the Starbucks peppermint white chocolate mocha frappuccino that I’ve ever had. And now I can whip it up at home whenever I want!!
No matter if you are using a straw, a spoon, or both, this is a chilly treat sure to please. You could easily use Irish creamer instead of Peppermint creamer to turn this into an Irish Coffee float. No matter what the flavor, the touches of green definitely make this a St. Patrick’s worthy dessert. Enjoy!!
