How about a super simple, no fuss, but oh-so-gorgeous Fall arrangement for your door this year? Today I’m sharing How to Make an Elegant + Easy Fall Door Decor! This bouquet is inspired by one of my all-time favorite style icons Ralph Lauren!

It feels like something that you might see in one of his spectacular stores or ads. Anyone remember the gorgeous Downton Abbey inspired ads? I still feel light headed when I see these images; they are so beautiful! I flatter myself that this arrangement has an equestrian flair to it, inspired by this picture. At least I tried to channel it when creating this decor.
Best of all, it’s outrageously easy to style!
Here are the supplies for How to Make an Elegant + Easy Fall Door Decor
- Leaf Branches – I used three bouquets to fill my basket (from Michaels Craft Store)
- Fishing Basket or another container – mine came from PCB Home
- Plaid Ribbon (from Michaels Craft Store)
- Acorn embellishment (from Michaels Craft Store)
- Raffia ribbon (for attaching acorns to arrangement – also from Michaels Craft Store)
I found these beautiful acorn and oak leaf “bouquets” at Michaels Craft Stores a couple of weeks ago. They were so striking I felt that they could stand on their own and didn’t require much else in the way of embellishment. I scooped up three of these bouquets.
Do you see the acorn details? So sweet!
I have an affinity for acorns, and the detail on these is so special!! Do you remember the DIY Felt Acorns we made last year? One of the things I love about living at Hartfield are all of the big oak trees out front – we have a lifetime supply of acorns!
Next, I started thinking about the container that I would use. I found this vintage fishing basket from PCB Home at the Lucketts Market this Fall. Bingo! With its warm wicker tones and leather accents, I knew it would be the perfect container to hold these leaves.
I did want to add a little extra embellishment – I couldn’t resist! The craft store had these oversized acorns made out of leaves, and little acorn tops that I knew would add a bit of charm to the presentation. I used a little bit of Raffia ribbon to tie these on.
