I just came across this lovely post about printing your letters on fabric and making pillows and it was SO easy that I had to share it with you! Alisa gives very straight forward instructions with great photos. She uses personal love letters which I think is so sweet but I also think this could be a fantastic project for a favorite novel. Imagine pages from your child’s favorite book on pillows on his or her bed?! Or pages from Twilight or Pride & Prejudice on a pillow in my room?!! or tote bags?! or a table cloth for a party?! Oh, my! My mind is busy on ideas. Can’t wait to make some of these! Thank you so much Alisa Burke for sharing this!
Then I found this post on how to make “printable fabric” from almost any fabric – I love this because the muslin style fabric that you can buy at craft stores doesn’t really inspire me but this tutorial opens unlimited opportunities!! Emily even uses this technique to make tags for her baby apparel line: Precious Stone Design… what a great application of this technique! I’m off to the store to buy freezer paper, right now!
I hope you enjoy these ideas and they help you to Celebrate in style!
