As I continue to peel away the layers of Christmas decorations around my house, I’m taking little breaks to infuse a bit of Valentine pretties here and there. Today I’m sharing a free Valentine printable that I designed, and best of all, I have a free copy for you to print your own! It is a scripture from 1 John 3:18:
“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth!”
I love the message of this verse, especially as I am trying to teach my little the one the importance of her actions (which is an endless loop with a four year old). Our words are important but it is what we do that shows what is really in our hearts.
To spruce it up for the holiday, I added a few sweet Valentine graphics that I found over at The Graphics Fairy – my favorite resource for fabulous vintage artwork.
The art is sized to print on a standard 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of paper. If you would like it smaller you could change the scale of your print size. I printed mine full-scale on a linen texture paper – I like the feel that the linen gives the print. Then I trimmed about 1/2″ off with a deckle edge rotary cutter. For this I use my Fiskars Rotary Paper Trimmer (affiliate link) with a deckle edge blade. This is a craft tool that I use regularly and highly recommend.
You can download your PDF of the artwork here. I think it could make a charming Valentine gift for a friend as well. I would be so grateful if you would Pin this or share a link to this post on your social media. Please note this is FREE for PERSONAL USE only. You are welcome to share about this on social media or your own site as long as you link back here. Please do not upload this to your site and have readers download it from you.
I hope you enjoy this!
