Happy Saturday! I have an early Christmas gift for you today, but first can I just say, is it really the last Saturday before Christmas? – how did we get here already?!! I’m hustling trying to check things off my (seemingly) endless list and included on that list is wrapping. The act of creating beautifully wrapped gifts is almost an art form in my opinion. One of my favorite books is Presentations: A Passion for Gift Wrapping (affiliate link) by Carolyne Roehm. It is a sumptuous collection of inspiring ideas for packaging presents for every season. And as a special treat for you this holiday, I have created a pretty little octet of gift tags to help you embellish and make the most of your gifts too!
Here, a simple brown lunch sack is transformed with a petite preserved boxwood wreath (affiliate link), which is part of the actual gift, and yet also a lovely embellishment. The tote is finished off with one of these gift cards adding an elegant touch.
Each tag features a unique snowflake design, and comes with both red and green text options. There are eight tags total for you to enjoy!
You can punch a hole in a corner and attach with ribbon or attach with tape or even a glue dot – there are many possibilities.
When planning my wrapping, while I like decorative papers, often I will select more neutral papers to allow favorite ribbons to really shine. And I usually like to tuck in a little piece of greenery for extra interest. Here I also layered in a few sprigs of gilded boxwood – which is just a fancy form of spray painted boxwood branches. I like the extra drama they add!

I will be in and out next week with the holiday and then I will be around for sure the week of New Years because I am hosting a fabulous New Year’s Eve Blog Hop with some of your favorite bloggers! So please mark your calendar to check back in for that.
Til then, I hope all of your last minute preparations go smoothly and that you are sure to make time to enjoy these fleeting moments, they are precious. And, I truly hope that you enjoy this small gift, and that it will add some measure of joy to your holiday. God bless you dear friend!
