Did you see my recent post on Fall Porch Decorating with French Blue & White? Today, I’m sharing Part Two: Fall Porch Decorating with Warm Autumn Tones! Here I’ve completely embraced the oranges, reds, chocolates, and of course golds of the season! I know that sometimes decorating can feel overwhelming but it really takes only a few elements and a few minutes to help you create a warm and welcoming setting. Here’s an overview of how I created mine:
Just like the blue & white setting I shared the other day, this scene all begins with the Lutyen bench from Walmart. It’s my anchor. A few large planters act as bookends and make the space seem larger and more welcoming.
A small, chippy table is the perfect addition and because of its distressed finish, it’s not afraid of a little weather.
An ornate wood tray (from the Southern Living collection) displays a bounty of harvest goodies.
At Ross Dress for Less a couple of years ago I came across some cozy plaid wraps in the women’s clothing section that double quite nicely as throws. Keep an eye out, you never know where some great home decor might be found!
Add a pillow, a pumpkin, and a scrap of fall branches and you have all you need to make this Fall ready scene!
Of course a smattering of pumpkins (real & faux) bring it all together!
I really love these baby pumpkins with their pretty gold tops (found at Walmart)!
From every angle, we’re ready for fall. Once the trees start to turn this will be a great leaf watching spot to hang out in!
Even a wicker tote – normally reserved for summertime trips – gets in on the fall fun when filled with branches and pumpkins!
Have you been dressing up your home for Fall yet? I hope you have gotten an idea or two that helps you feel relaxed about the process.
