It can be fun to create seasonal holiday treats, but sometimes don’t you wish you could do it in just a few minutes and be done already? (Or is that just me?) I love a fun, big bang for your buck type of treat and today I’m sharing one of those! Easy White Chocolate Shamrock Pretzel Rods, they come together in minutes, and three simple ingredients are all that is needed to make this totally cute, and oh so tasty treat.

That’s it. The big pretzel rods are important because you want enough space to really coat the pretzel. For me, small pretzel sticks and regular small pretzels don’t have the same mass to hold enough white chocolate for my taste.
Place your white chocolate chips in a glass bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals to melt. Be careful to not overheat your chips which will cause your chocolate to seize. If you take it slow and steady you’ll be just fine and end up with easy, smooth melted chocolate in minutes.
Pour your melted chocolate onto a piece of parchment paper. This is handy because you can just roll your pretzel across it. And if your chocolate starts to harden you can peel it right off the parchment paper and gently melt it again.
You can then easily bag them up in little pretzel bags like this (affiliate link) and hand them out, or serve them on a platter. My daughter wants to make these for her classmates and they are so easy that she can make them herself! Yay!!
I hope you like this simple yet adorable St. Patricks Day dessert that comes together with only 3 ingredients! It’s a fun way to celebrate without feeling overwhelmed.
