I saw this quote today and just had to share. Worry has such a way of creeping in to my thoughts and I’m guessing I’m not alone in this… Isn’t it strange? Why does it feel so natural, almost “right” to worry? I know I’ve said it before, but I guess, in my case at least, it bears repeating. Worrying doesn’t help and actually causes more problems – adds stress to our days which can raise our blood pressure, cause us to eat more than we should, and definitely not be as creative as we could be. Yikes!
So I hope this quote by Corrie Ten Boom encourages you like it encourages me…
“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength!”
Let’s set down our worries and trust. I’m choosing to pray instead – and oh, what a relief it is!
More peace, less worry… sounds great to me!!
