I am pretty obsessed with monograms. I have lots of letters adorning everything from papers to fabric and of course decor accents all throughout my home. A while ago I made this moss covered letter as a tutorial for a wedding project but I loved it so much that I hung it in my home! I thought you might like it too, so here’s my tutorial… I believe that monograms are a great way to personalize your space or your celebration. Best of all, they are very easy to make with this tutorial for a DIY Moss Covered Letter. Here’s what you need:
Adhesive Moss (sold in sheets at your local craft store)
:: STEP ONE ::
Place letter face down on wrong side of moss, trace letter. Cut out the moss – I recommend cutting wider than your trace to allow for you to wrap the moss over the sides. You can always trim more and stick it onto the sides as needed.
:: STEP TWO ::
Trim ribbon to desired length and hang!
Simple, stylish and affordable! Now that’s a DIY project that I can get excited about!
