Today I’m showing you how to make DIY Chalkboard Easter Eggs. They are a happy ending to my unofficial Easter Egg week! What do you think, have you gotten a bit of inspiration? Please mark your calendar because I will be sharing all of these and more on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. (EST) on Facebook LIVE with HomeTalk! I’d love to have you tune in and let’s make some fun Easter crafts together!
Just like with the DIY Speckled Easter eggs, we’re using the faux eggs I found at Wal-Mart. I’m also using this cute Chalkboard paint also found at Wal-Mart (but you can also find the chalkboard paint here on Amazon – affiliate link). I’ll freely admit that I’m a sucker for adorable packaging like this paint label has!

All you have to do is lightly brush on the chalkboard paint, allow the eggs to dry (which only takes a few minutes) and then turn and touch up the spots where you were holding the eggs. It’s oh-so-simple!
Once the eggs are completely dry (I let mine sit overnight) you are ready to write on an inspiring message of hope, joy, peace, etc… or you could write a name on each one as a place card for your Easter supper. There are so many possibilities!
I turned a vintage silver French ice cream dish into an egg cup with the aid of a pinch of moss, a single flower bloom, and a snippet of ribbon. So simple to put together and yet it adds so much charm to a setting, don’t you agree?
Before I go I have a very special favor to ask you. I am working hard to make this blog the best ever, but to do that, I need to hear from you! After all, you’re the reason I’m here. So here’s your chance to tell me what you think!
What do you want to see more of, less of, what can I do to help you truly celebrate your everyday life?
Your input really matters! So please take a couple of minutes to share with me on THIS READER SURVEY FORM. It’s just a few questions and I promise it won’t take you long at all to fill-in but your feedback will make a huge difference in the future around here and it would be such a blessing.
