Goodness, it’s November already! How did we get here so quickly? I know November has 30 days but it often feels like the shortest month of the year to me, does it to you too? There’s just so much to fit in to this wonderful month and it all culminates with one of my favorite gatherings – Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving because it’s a slower speed holiday, the family is gathered and the entire focus is on being grateful and present in the moment. Today I am over-the-moon excited to be partnering with my dear friends at bHome for our Thankful to bHome Tour and sharing inspiration to help you find your Thanksgiving style to Celebrate with 8 Thanksgiving Tables! I hope you will join me and my fellow bloggers as we present decor and ideas to help you make the most of this entire month and especially Thanksgiving! There are loads of links at the bottom of this post plus a special opportunity for you to win an amazing Hostess gift set, but first, let’s chat about styles and ideas to make this Thanksgiving your most memorable one yet!
A Blue Willow Thanksgiving – Blue and White is one of my most passionate design styles. I have touches of it in every room of my house so of course I had to create a tablescape that was brimming with a few beloved pieces from my collection. A few things that I love about this table are that 1) You don’t have to have all matching pieces to achieve a similar look, and 2) you can create a dynamic and engaging centerpiece without having a traditional centerpiece. Hop over to the post to read all about this Chinoiserie inspired Thanksgiving table.
Cream + Gold: A Glamorous Fall Supper – I love all types of decor, I really do, but sometimes I just want some bling on my table, and if you want to add some shimmer and shine to yours than this is the table for you! It’s actually a simple look to create but it looks extremely chic and sophisticated. Click here to read all about how to create a golden table this Thanksgiving.
Autumn Splendor: While this table is heaving with a luscious array of fruits and flowers it’s probably one of the simplest to recreate. Boxes filled with grocery store blooms and mini pumpkins, add in a few bronze candlesticks and one enchanting pumpkin and you are on your way to a storybook like setting that will absolutely enchant your friends and family. It has a fairy tale-like quality to it that I think really helps guests to let the stresses of everyday life melt away and just “be” in the moment, celebrating what’s most important: familia! Read all about how I created this Fall Harvest table here.
A Blue & White Pumpkin Fall Tablescape – Unlike the traditional blue & white combination at the top, this table has a distinct farmhouse Thanksgiving feel to it. With touches of burlap (including a ruffled burlap tablecloth which you can make here!), wooden chargers + flatware, and even galvanized dollar bin napkin rings, this table is easy on the budget while high on that oh-so-popular Fixer Upper style! Apple Harvest Table – sometimes you just can’t beat simple. Simplicity can be very powerful, especially if you are in a beautiful setting to begin with and you just want to let it shine. In that case, I like to pair it all down to the basic elements. For example here the theme was apples, so I presented them on their own. This type of design is especially powerful when you build the menu around the theme as well. Read all about the elements of this Farmhouse style Apple Harvest table here.
A Blue & White Thanksgiving Tablescape – This table has a romantic, old-fashioned feel to it thanks to the antique crochet tablecloth and the mismatched china which adds a nostalgic, hand-me-down tenderness. The real treat here is the centerpiece – foraged pine cones and acorns add an unexpected element that keeps this table from being to “twee” or “quaint” and the pinecones make great placecard holders too! Fireside Thanksgiving Table: If you are blessed to live somewhere where you can continue to enjoy the outdoors, even in the late fall, then by all means, let’s take the meal outdoors! This post is full of ideas, including some FREE DECOR TIPS, which will have you planning an alfresco celebration. Gather your outdoor Thanksgiving tips here!

On a serious note, and since this is a season of gratitude and giving, before you head off to visit FGH and my friends, take a moment to consider helping out a mom who is fighting a battle for her daughter that no one should ever have to fight. Christine, a friend to many of us bloggers, is literally fighting for her daughter’s life. No pressure at all, but if you are inclined to help have a look here, together we can make a huge difference in their life this holiday season! Thanks so much.
