Happy Valentine’s Day dear friends!! While we’re all celebrating this day of amore, I’m so happy to introduce you to my friend Kelly, the creative maven behind the everything fabulous blog: Eclectically Vintage. Like me, Kelly loves a good collection and has so many delightful specimens for us to enjoy. As my heart longs for spring I can’t help but be drawn to the bright colors of these gorgeous Italian decanters. Aren’t they beauties?
Speaking of Spring dreams – how adorable is this Umbrella Door Wreath overflowing with forsythia branches? I really love this and totally want to create one for my backdoor.
It’s been really drizzly and rainy here today so seeing a bright and cheerful patio like this perks me right up! And can we just have a moment of silent admiration for the turquoise glider. Something in my yard is getting painted that color – I don’t know what but something!
I’ve seen lots of old dressers at thrift stores and yard sales that would be perfect candidates for this Dresser Planter. Imagine how cozy your “outdoor room” would be with this?! Plus I’m a sucker for geraniums. They are such a happy flower to me.
The inside of her home is even lovelier and has lots of fun details like this plate gallery wall. I’ve been playing with the idea of a gallery wall like this but I haven’t tackled it yet. I keep getting a little nervous and chickening out but when I see this, I feel inspired to take it on!
There is so much eye candy in her Family Room! Those cool blue & green glass bottles on the shelves? check. The assortment of glass cloches and cake domes? check. The twin typewriters? check. The silver trays and flatware? check. The red webbed chair? check. The map chandelier? double check!
Just wait until you see her kitchen… gorgeous. I’m noticing that I’m really drawn to white kitchens these days. And with her creamy cabinets and luxurious carrera white marble countertops and backsplash and white farmhouse sink, well, her kitchen is a vision in white! Plus, how cool are those demijohn wine jug light fixtures?!
My Dad was a wallpaper hanger when I was growing up and I have to say I am totally scouting for an antique wallpaper pasting table after seeing this one!! I can still remember the smell of the paste!
And you know how much I love a trophy, right? Seeing Kelly’s enviable vintage trophy collection assured me that she and I are definitely kindred spirits! I’m just so delighted to have Kelly on board as a contributor to my magazine! I can’t wait to share her awesome collections and projects with you! I know you’ll love them!
I hope you will hop over to her blog and say hello! There is soooo much more to see!
