Today I’m thrilled to introduce you to my cyber-friend Diane of An Extraordinary Day. I especially love her tag line: “A Place for Joy & Inspiration”. Her blog is my “go-to” spot for an emotional pick-me-up. No matter what is going on in her life she always finds the good in it. Definitely a glass is half full kind of gal – and who among us couldn’t use a cheerleader like that on our side? That’s Diane in a nut-shell!
During the month of October she is celebrating “31 Extraordinary Days“. What does this mean? According to Diane “I’ll be sharing ideas, experiences, and even a little philosophy behind the Extraordinary Lifestyle I embrace. Home and garden and lifestyle will be woven throughout. And we’ll also relish the season of autumn, too.”
Sounds awesome, right?! I think so, so count me in as a fellow pilgrim on this journey of extraordinary-ness 🙂
One of my favorite posts so far in our 31 day journey was this post titled “Joy Day“. It was all about being “intentionally grateful”. Ummm… yeah, I totally need to be reminded about that sometimes. Which reminds me – another thing I love? Periodically she’ll make a short list counting her blessings – what a great tip for feeling grateful and instantly improving your mood!
Sometimes Diane will also pull together a table like this October Dining Outdoors post and you know how much I love a tablescape! I think these little pumpkins on her table are adorable!! I would so love to find some of these!! Imagine eating a delicious pumpkin curry bisque out of it? Yum!
This post, titled Breathe, was another “genius” post reminding me to get off the “excellent treadmill” and just “breathe”. The result? More creativity and inspiration will flow through you when you do! I know that I know this but apparently I forget that I know this – so I love being reminded!!
Along my own blog journey Diane has been a faithful friend and follower these past several months. Really encouraging me with her comments and emails and I’m so very, very grateful for that! Blogging isn’t really a team sport and you can feel a bit isolated at times which is why comments are so valued! Diane is one of those gals who is a delightful and much welcomed companion on my blogging journey and is steadily cheering me on and I love her for that! I hope you will pop over to her site and join me and her on this awesome 31 Extraordinary Days adventure! I know you will be glad that you did!
