In case you haven’t noticed by all my Thanksgiving table themed posts… my favorite November holiday, by far, is Thanksgiving. I love the familiarity of the traditional family recipes but I also love to mix in a few new ideas here and there. So here are some more Thanksgiving Decor Ideas! Today’s tablescape is designed around that perennial favorite of the Thanksgiving table: the Cranberry! I’m excited to share these easy decorating ideas with you so that you may find inspiration and a few new ways to refresh your celebration.
This holiday is steeped in the tradition of celebrating the harvest and with that in mind I want to use elements of nature’s bounty as the inspiration for my décor. Shades of cranberry red, soft cream, peach, rose, green and chocolate are the backdrop for my fresh tablescape.
A plain quilted table runner turned to run across the table rather than down, creates a beautiful frame for each place setting. A favorite red toile fabric is cut with pinking shears to be a simple and easy napkin, adding a creamy pop of color to the neutral tablescape.
I love feathers and often try to use them in my decor schemes! These feathers on a pick – from my local craft store – transform a plain votive into a showstopper! A few quail eggs scattered around the base complete the effect.
One of my favorite ideas on this tablescape are the individual salt & pepper servers that I made by cracking a walnut in half! So cute and so easy!!
Til then, I hope you’ve found a bit of inspiration for your Thanksgiving table. Can you believe it’s only a few days away?!!
A special thank you to Jen Fariello for taking these photos for me!
