We just stumbled upon Style Me Pretty's new Best of 2010 Weddings e-glossy and just had to share it with you!! It's filled with gorgeous photography, dresses, flowers, papers, and more drool-worthy details!
It might have been months ago, but here at Jennifer Carroll Events, we're still swooning over Lori & Nick's summer wedding at Veritas Vineyard! We're so excited that The Knot is currently featuring this couple's rustic nuptials in their Spring issue and we just posted a larger peek at the entire day on our Facebook page. Lori and Nick really embraced their wedding's vineyard setting and, inspired by their enthusiasm, we intertwined their love for Virginia and each other into all the day's rustic details. Love this look, but aren't quite sure how to get it? Here are a few tips for bringing Lori and Nick's Big Day into your every day:
A few questions we constantly get asked are usually the simpliest for us to answer: "Why do I need a wedding planner?" and "What's the difference between a planner and designer anyway?" We're always happy to explain the necessity of having a planner in your corner when heading into your Big Day– having someone other than your family or friends organizing the day and ensuring that everything runs smoothly allows you and your loved ones to relax and enjoy the entire point of the day– your marriage!
Wedding blogs are huge these days– who doesn't get happily sidetracked into hours upon hours of browsing Style Me Pretty or, more locally, The Brides Cafe? But a new trend growing in the bridal blogging world is real life brides detailing their progress throughout their planning process. Here at Jennifer Carroll Events, we think this trend is such a cute idea! We love when brides scrapbook their planning experience or somehow keep a tangible record of their engagement period– and blogging just takes this to a whole new level!
It's Tuesday, and Jennifer Carroll Events is off and rolling this week! We had a fantastic weekend of meetings with 2011 brides and we're hard at work putting the finishing touches on several projects we've had this month– yes, 2011 is starting with a bang!
Most brides want their wedding to make a splash right from the very get-go– and what better way to establish your wedding's theme and ambiance than with your Save the Date? While some couples dismiss this sweet custom as an antiquated waste of stamps, others delight in finding unique and innovative ways to announce their ceremony date. There's no right or wrong way to inform your guests of your wedding date– although we hesitate to advise a couple to send out a Save the Date email! Everyone loves to receive snail mail and there's really no better way to get guests buzzing about your Big Day than with a fabulous card.
Is it too late to be thinking about New Years Resolutions? We at Jennifer Carroll Events think not! We might be a few weeks into 2011 already, but that doesn't mean we can't reflect on our past year and plot out some ways to make the most of our new year!
We at Jennifer Carroll Events are excited to announce that one of our gorgeous couples, Lori and Nick, are featured in the current issue of The Knot! We are so honored and excited to have one of our lovely couples recognized by one of the industry's best publications– and we hope each bride-to-be who picks up the issue will be inspired by the details of Lori and Nick's Afton wedding!
Living in Central Virginia is heavenly– the rolling mountains, the gorgeous skylines, the beautiful colors year-around– but being a part of such a fantastic and supportive community is a huge draw for us here at Jennifer Carroll Events as well. Our fellow wedding vendors are incredible– so when our events get recognized by our friends in the industry, we are so honored! The lovely Danielle Freedman of the fun Charlottesville Weddings blog showcased Marissa and John's Veritas wedding yesterday. This pretty April event was full of lavendar details, delicate papers, and, of course, a happy couple!
